Please forgive a little crowing here, because I love the dress I'm wearing in this picture. It's dark blue satin with black velvet appliques, elegant spaghetti straps, and a gorgeously deep V in the back.
But best of all? You know what I paid for it?
$6.99 on eBay. ($13.99 including shipping.)
God bless the Internet, I say.

That is a gorgeous dress! And obviously you can't beat the price.
ReplyDeleteGreat price! Great dress! I love that neckline.
ReplyDeleteI have a $35 dress that's made the rounds of all my best girlfriends. For some reason it fits all of us and we all look amazing in it.
Kinda like the sisterhood of the really hot red dress.
Wow, gorgeous dress, and the price is definitely right!
ReplyDeleteooh, so pretty! but how did you know it'd fit like a dream? that's what deters me from internet shopping for clothes...i'm not good with thread and needle, either.
ReplyDeleteWow, you look great, man.
ReplyDeleteI've haven't shopped eBay in a long time!
ReplyDeleteThanks for getting me back into the addiction.
Fabulous dress!
Wow! What a deal.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! And a steal of a deal!
ReplyDeleteThat is so, so, so, gorgeous (and a bargain too -- best. combination. ever) and you look beautiful in it!
ReplyDeleteGod bless the Internets! And you look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOnly $6.99?! WOW. :o)
ReplyDeleteSweet.
ReplyDeleteFor those of you leery of buying clothes online, Goodwill is also excellent. I don't know how much their evening dresses are, but you can get dresses for $5 and look great at work.
Secondhand is the only way to go.
So where will Cinderella go in such a lovely dress?
ReplyDeleteThat is hot!
ReplyDelete.
Cheryl, I have to ask, since I live in the land of flip flops, where does one wear such a nice dress? Theater? Opera? Embassy Ball?
.
If you ever want to see exactly how badly Californians can dress, go to the theater on a rainy day. You'll see ski parkas over long dresses, Ug boots paired with velvet dresses, fur coats and jeans. Tack-eee stuff, tack-eee.

God bless the internet, indeed!
