Nope.
ReplyDeleteShe did have a really, really long neck and collar bones you could hang coat hangers on...
ReplyDeletePerhaps, it is a nod from the Academy for a lifetime of achievement, her work with pirates and her performance in "Princess of Thieves" And she should get something for not barfing on that swing.
I actually enjoyed the movie a lot more than I thought I would. I hate most movies, which is probably due to the fact that most of the ones we see have Happy Meal toy tie-ins or Yu-Gi-Oh cards. But this Pride and Prejudice did have a warm, mooshy feel to it, like Chocolat or Under the Tuscan Sun. Am I a little embarrassed to admit it? Well, maybe... Will I buy the DVD? Uhhh, yeah.... hangs head and shuffles off....
yeah... i mean, i enjoyed the movie while i watched it... but best actress? yeah, right.
ReplyDelete"Keira Knightley as Best Actress for "Pride and Prejudice"?"
ReplyDeleteNo, it is for a different movie entirely: "Pride & Prejudice." Frankly, I'm more interested in that sweet aristocrat with lips in the Wallace and Gromit movie, but I don't suppose she was nominated. Ah well...
Monica
