Harry and We PotterHeads

My photos from yesterday's release festivities in New York are now up here (you can use the comments to read about my night), and you can see the Nightline profile of me here. Some thoughts on Deathly Hallows to come.

  1. That picture of you with your face in the cutout cracked me up. What a one in a lifetime experience. How super cool.

    And those "related" you tube videos are, uh, interesting looking. :)

    Thanks for sharing the HP pics, I really enjoyed looking through them all.
    (My favorite pic was the one of you in the cutout too)

  3. To JKR, to Arthur, to you! And to everyone who had a part in that book that made me laugh, cry, and scream obscenities to thin air...

    Thank you, so very, very much. I absolutely loved it. Well done.

  4. Congratulations on the most amazing book launch I have ever witnessed. Thanks so much for posting the NIGHTLINE segment. I had a heads-up about it, but I came home too late to catch it live. What fun to watch you use your Red Pencil to make a "large stack of paper" a Real Live Book. {}

    p.s. You Looked Absolutely Fabulous.

  9. Credit where it's due: I went to the M.A.C. store in Soho and had my makeup done an hour before the interview taped. Thank goodness, too -- I could never have pulled that off myself!

  10. Well, you looked great...and even the best make-up artist can only do so much with the raw material she's handed, yes? ;) The smile beneath the lipstick is all yours.
