We didn't have the disc to reinstall, of course. We currently operating with Open Office. I agree with Jude, Open Office is barely better than nothing! It kinda has the same goodies, if you look for it, but not really. It's like a Calvin Ball scavenger hunt to perform the must basic of functions. GAH! So frustrating!! I consider it a piece of junk. I used it for about 6 months before I got rid of it; I'm quite good with almost any software application. Today, I was helping a student with Open Office (which we have at our high school) and it was *not* comparable to Powerpoint. It is only barely better than nothing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4074861.post-11980633356354319922007-10-08T12:55:00.000-04:002007-10-08T12:55:00.000-04:00I agree with Open Office. I'd run your Impress file once on Powerpoint in your office, though (make sure to save it as a .ppt file), to make sure there's nothing you did in Impress that didn't translate well. OpenOffice is freaking awesome, but it's not flawless yet.Jeremiahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17224235558625382738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4074861.post-82984410443933566092007-10-08T04:01:00.000-04:002007-10-08T04:01:00.000-04:00Ditto what scott said - openoffice.org.Ditto what scott said - openoffice.org.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4074861.post-22419321516974185102007-10-07T08:55:00.000-04:002007-10-07T08:55:00.000-04:00You could download powerpoint from the microsoft w...You could download powerpoint from the microsoft wenbsite for free.
